How much tip would you give to a receptionist in France for posting a postcard?

Seriously! No! I have heard terrible stories about haunted houses. I rather eat a penguin

Hey...I am serious!

I've been there before with my parents in '80s. and I also used to work in several hotels, but I mean if you stay at the hotel not hostel.

Everyday, all departments in the hotel will put all mails at the front desk for them to put appropriate stamps on.

I really wish you would have mentioned in advance that you work for this company... spam is generally frowned upon and it would have saved some of the time spent by members answering you.

Just go to any nearby Tabac and pick a postcard, then ask the person at the till, 'Je voudrais un timbre aussi, s'il vous plait'

And voila, you will have a postcard with a stamp, post boxes and post offices are plentiful in Paris, just go wandering about for one. From memory boxes/signs for offices are bright yellow.
