Hello TP gurus

I want to add a "Quick Facts" box to a page, but can't work out how to do that.

I can see the code required from the "Dummies" help page, however, where in an existing article do I put the code?

Thanks for advice.

Edit the entire article, and put it at the very top. If there's an {{isIn}} tag (which most, if not all articles do), that should go first before the {{QuickFacts}}. Technically, the order doesn't really matter but this is the convention we use for the guides.

Instead of opening a new thread, I will *kick* this one.

When adding Quick facts, the coordinates go wrong when one is a negative. example: Cádiz, Can this be corrected or am I doing something wrong?

It appears ok in the quick facts block on the right though? just compared with for example Madrid, seems like looking ok??

I took another look and found the mistake.

The once that go wrong had a , after the first coordinate.

I am gonna kick this topic, as I noticed that the coordinates are not shown in the correct manner all over the guide. The Longitude, doesn't pop up in grey (as a title). I looked up a couple of cities and towns, and they all have the same problem. Can someone investigate?

Should that have shown up in grey? I'm inclined to think of "Coordinates" as the title (therefore in grey) but "latitude" and "longitude" are just the breakdown, therefore they're not. Maybe I'm incorrect in this assumption.

My question is though, how should the coordinates be written? When I wrote the TP guide on Nantes I used the format without decimals but I can see now that the coordinates for Paris and Madrid are in decimals. Which should be the format to use?

lil_lil, Coordinates are added to the articles by geobot. No need for you to do it unless you really feel the urge.

Yeah true, from time to time I set geobot loose and it takes care of a bunch of missing co-ordinates. It's been a while mind you - should set that going again :)

On that note, please excuse all the edits coming through right now - geobot does like to clog up the editing history a little :)
