Hi All!

I will be in Italy starting from Milan this April. I will be reaching Milan Malpensa airport and starting my journey from there. Google Earh shows that it is around 50 kms from Milan Central station. And the nearest rail station to Melpensa is shown as Gallareta. It would be great if someone could advise on whether I should book my tickets for internal trains in Italy in advance or reach a destination and then buy tickets there on the fly???? Is there a difference in the prices of the tickets if I book them early????

My travel plan is as follows:

Milan-Venice-Pisa-Rome-Milan

Please let me know whether I should book my tickets for internal trains in Italy in advance or reach a destination and then buy tickets there on the fly. Also are there any train passes for 4-5 days which can be bought to avoid taking tickets at all the stations and which may work at all the above mentioned stations.

Any help is highly appreciated!

Thanks!
