Well more than an hour!

Upload works when I upload 16mb of files.

Ok thanks for the clarification. Maybe for now the best idea is to upload in smaller batches (say 50 photos at a time). Once we've put in a fix for that copying process at the end, it will hopefully handle such massive batches a bit better.

"949 Incomplete Uploads"

How to I remove all these?

Also, I have had some files uploaded with the Windows jpeg icon?

You don't want to remove those! You just need to finish the process and fill out the required details. The most important one is the location.

It looks to me like your uploads did in fact work. They probably just took a long time to complete that last step.

Soz, just noticed!

I have 920 to get though [insert sigh]!

Working through them :)

Some gems of pictures!

As for the lokkup that helps find the place you are typing in to the location box, is there a way to fill the rest in short of clicking on the suggestion?

Return, space bar, tab do not work? Could this possibly be address Please

Hmm, just checked and scrolling through with my arrow on my keyboard, then hitting return works ok.

Note, that you can speed this up by using the "Copy to Other Photos" option.

And an alternative way of getting that location in there is by using the "Map" tab at the top. You might be able to do it faster through that actually.

Find haven't to search around a map is to slow.

I am now filtering for My Locations, and keeping the ones I haven't added a location to at the top. Howeve this defaults back after you have edited every photo.

When I have 900 to get through, its annoying

Ok, I'm confused about what you're doing here.

To be clear, this is how I would do it:

1. Click on the "900 Incomplete Uploads" link (this will pull up an edit form with ALL your photos in it - pagenated)
2. For the top one, select the location and then copy that to the others (assuming they're the same)
3. Save and move on to the next page.

You can do 10 at a time this way. I know, that's still very slow for your number of photos, but I guess we don't really expect people to upload 900 photos at once :)

Oh, and one possible way of speeding that up is to somehow edit the EXIF data of your photos and provide the location in there. But you would have had to do that before you uploaded them.

Thanks I see what you mean, current;y I have a copy/paste on the lipboard with travel locations.

I'll try this.

In terms of feautured photo, does a date/title matter much? Is a tag needed to use the e.g. [fields] insert used on the Wiki? So Ifi I added some lines about Paddy Fields in Vietnam I would have to tag a field picutre with Field/Fields and then need to the Wiki entry add [fields] ?

Yes, tags are used that way in the wiki. So you would need to tag your photos for them to show up. The best though is to use a photoID as it gives far more control over which one shows. To use the tag feature that way is good for rough stuff, but not for the final photo, as it is very possible it might bring up some crappy photos accidentally.
