Thanks in advance forany help.

I was denied entry to go back to my wife at the time back in April 2006 to the USA,
I have since that been divorced and want to come go to Oz for on a working holiday.
I am just trying to get a heads up is this going to be a serious count towards me.
I am hoping to leave round July 2009

Once again thanks for any input.

I'm a mean spirited person and I could shame your post in so many ways, but generally people who post on these forums are nice so i'll be nice also.

Need more details.
Why were you denied into the USA?
Different countries have different rules about entry.

We cant help you if you don't provide specific details. Best way to be sure is to contact your local Oz embassy/consulate or something.

Thanks for being nice Supersuck

I am a UK citizen, I was denied (to the best of my understanding) from the US point of view I had over stayed my welcome and admitted it before my residency visa was sorted by returning to the US with out the paper work
(unknown to me was a separate visa for some reason).

I saw some ones else post on another site and it said they where banned entry into the US for 10 years and they wouldn't be able to get a visa for any where else. Hence why I am here. To see if the person posting on the other blog
(wasn't just a mean hearted person by nature lol) saying it to be spiteful since the rest of his letter was just plain mean. I am not sure what other info to put, if you need please please let me know.

Thanks

I'm not a pro but I'm guessing it should be alright.

According to the following site: http://www.immi.gov.au/visitors/working-holiday/417/eligibility-first.htm

It doesn't mention anything about outstanding paper work with other countries, but it could fall under the Character Requirements

If you want to be sure, you should check with the Australian embassy/consulate.

haha this made line made me laugh. I was like, "did he just call him...Ohhhhh that's his screenname"

back to the topic:
I think I've watched enough border patrol australia to call my self an expert in this area....

I say Give it a shot, you never know unless you try...but be truthful about your past. it's going to ask if you've ever been deported or denied entry into a country. I can't imagine it would go well if you tried to slip past them without telling them all of the details, but they might understand if you tell them. Just don't try to smuggle in any fruit..... or pigeons....apparently they frown upon that.
