I don't get it.
Why plan a trip which is almost 3 years from now? And why almost only visit cities? Once you have seen one, you have seen them all in Latin America. Ok, not entirely thrue but still.
With that amount of time, I would stick to a part of South America, for example Rio to Santiago or Lima.

By the way, the broken lines are because the trip is in the future guys and girls.
There is some backtracking which can be avoided though in the trip, like Rio - Iguazu - Sao Paulo. Might be better to check the atlas very good first.

I think this will set you back around a zillion pounds regarding flights

ok, clear.
Well, I guess with 50 days, I would just book the cheapest return flight from the UK to a certain city in South America and travel around 3/4 countries.
You won't regret to spend lots of your time in Peru and Bolivia. Cheap, diverse and beautiful!

Yes, I wasn't sure. Found a site that wouldtake me south via San Fran. Its the only major place in the US I haven't seen.

I think Brazil, Uuguay, Argenitna, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Boliva, then maybe either El Salvador or Mexico - to see Naja and Mexico City.

Some cities I need 7 days to see like Rome, Barcelona, etc.

Others, including my favourite, have been brilliant in obnly 18 hours (include a nights sleep)!

Its opened my eyes to djusting the necessary itenerary refinements, which most people think mine are at a military level of detail! Numerous people/places have said the same thing regarding military, the research I put in may come from my thorough researching traingin in Genetics.

Broken lines indicate that the sections of the trip are in the future.
