If you happen to fall into Tbilisi in Georgia, near the old town, in a back alley area there's a bar called 'the hanger bar' its an aviation/irish themed bar. American lady owns it, got quite a a lively atmosphere, cheap drinks, and good cheap food.
Take in some english newspapers for the owner and you should get a free drink ;)

It's gone now, but Rosy O'Grady's in Moscow was pretty special. Not just because I worked there.... well yes, because I worked there!

If you're interested, the football match is on (2 British teams I can't remember--Manchester, I think, and somebody else) at 8:45 Saturday morning at the Old Orchard pub on de la Montagne. I shall not be attending at that ungodly hour, but my other half--who sleeps in till noon on a normal weekend--will be there bright and early. Feel free to check it out!

I don't worship Footie at the best of times...and at 8:45 in the morning even less. Though They have Rugby on at ten at your joint, Hurley's. I appreciate and respect the offer, however.

Seen both your pubs today...As a non-Irish person, Hurley's is the hands-down winner. Good Craic there and lots of regulars.
