Been working on costs and budget for backpacking around the Middle East. My revised aim (having removed Libya and therefore Tunisia) is to do Macedonia>Bulgaria>Turkey and end up in Egypt. I've worked out (in GBP as an average of your € estimates before):

Macedonia-1 week-£23/day
Bulgaria-1 week-£26 (maybe less as best friend is Bulgarian and will help)
Turkey-3 weeks-£33
Lebanon-2 weeks-£26
Syria-3 weeks-£15
Jordan-2 weeks - £26
Egypt-4 weeks-£18

+£90 roughly for visas
+Flight into Skopje from London c. £40
+Flight from Cairo to London c. £250

I make that c. £3,000 near enough, am I about right or would I be better off having more like £4k?

Cheers for any help!

Anybody reckon I'm on the right track here?
