Ios in early May?

Hello,

I have been to Ios in late May and early June, it was right before the high season and it was a blast. I was wondering if going to Ios on May 11 thru May 21 was to early to go to Ios in terms of fellow backpackers and sun and the beach?

will be slow for sure, but still lots of fun... probably only the bars around the main square will be open, somewhere between 5 and 10. you must go in aug when scorpion is open. i was in greece last may and weather was on and off.. some days cold and windy, but some days nice and sunny.
