London to Amsterdam

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone knows the best as well as the cheapest ways to get from london to Amsterdam. I'll be arriving in London on the 15th of March, I have my first few days planned with family,but would like to go from there to Amsterdam *( possibly through Belgium, I have family there). I will be travelling alone, so, if anyone is up for the tour, let me know. If not, safe travels and tons of fun to all.

Depends: in my experience the chunnel is cheapest, but other people will say it's flying.

The ferry isn't expensive either, but rather time-consuming.

The cheapest way is almost certainly the Eurolines bus. £12 each way if the dates fit, including the ferry crossing.

If you take the overnight ferry it takes a fair while but you get your own room with a bed in it so you don't waist any of your day travelling and you get a nights accomodation

The cheapest way is definitely the Eurolines bus, BUT i wouldn't recommend it. I travelled this way and it was horrific. the bus was noisy, crowded and smelly. The journey seemed to take forever and we had to waait for ages for everyone to cleasr costumes.

Pay the extra and fly, you won't regret it.
