Hyderabad - India

Hi everyone!

Anyone been to Hyderbad in India? I have an interview for my voluntary placement this weekend and I just wanted to get some people's views on the place?

Would be very grateful for any info!!

I have - it's a pretty cool city actually with Golconda fort, a large mosque, colourful markets, and the tombs etc. It's got quite a nice feel about it but I can't explain that much better

I wouldn't necessarily recommend the zoo if you are an animal lover

There are worse places you could end up in India

Were u there on holiday?

I'm going to be working there for a month, but will be hoping to get some time off to see the sites!

I went there for a few days when I was backpacking in India - From there, after your work is done, you could head off and do some sightseeing - google Hampi

If you have any questions I have been to india several times and spend almost all day everyday talking about india, andputting together itineraries for peoples holidays to india. i am happy to help out if i can
