Hey! Just wondering if anyone has been to Chumphon in Thailand? I have booked up with i-to-i for July and will be volunteering in Chumphon Panya Nukul School.

I'd love any information about Chumphon...things to do and see, local info.

Also, would love to hear from anyone who is going to be in the area at this time!!

Take care,

Rachel.

Hi

Never stopped in Chumphon, driven through the placeon several occasions, all I remember is that there is a high-speed ferry that goes from there down to Koh Tao-Koh Phanghan-Koh Samui !!.

Just looking at a few websites, its looks really nice without being too touristy !!.

Good Luck:)

Kevin

Hi There.

Just Google "Chumpom" and there would be info abt the town you are going to.

Stayed and visited surrounding area. A bit laid back town.

Suggest you learn to use bicycle or motorbike as getting around there by public transport is difficult.

Interesting nearby town are Narkon Sitamarrat where the jetty to Koa Sa Mui Island is located.

Surrounding natural attractions includes National Parks & Beaches.

Have an enjoyable time there.
