hey guys...first post....
I've recently decided to give it all up and go places....Nov 09 is the date id like to go....
after much debating i think ive settled on a route within my budget and time scale...im willing to 'slum' it in order to gain the best experiences i can on the way, it will take a lot of effort (pre, during and post trip) but really feel i need to do this. i may have selected a very stereotypical route, i dont know, but it sounds amazing to me......
so...the route...
uk - ( possible stop depending on flights..) to tokyo - ferry from osaka to shanghi - then on foot/bus/train all the way to kuala lumpur ( stopping at hong kong/hanoi/hoi chi minh city/phnom penh/bangkok/kuala and anywhere else on route i find. all that in bout 4/5 months, more if needed) then to borneo ( so i can stand either side of equator. no other reason so far) not sure how to get there yet though - then back to kuala for flight to sydney - then 6 months plus (hopefully) exploring as much of oz as poss. working inc... - then uk via stopover (wherever)
any comments on above would be much appreciated
thanks........ james
