Hi everyone

I am traveling to London (or somewhere nearby) later this year. Approx August. I plan to stay around a month as this stage before moving on. Not really sure yet. I have a child traveling with me (11yrs). Do I book my entire accommodation before I get there or should I hold off and just book a week and see if I can get a better deal when I get there?

any thoughts appreciated

thanks Kelly

Are you planning on hostels or hotels? If you want something in between try the premier inn or travel lodge chain. if you book some of them a month or so in advance they're about £19- £29...thats cheap as chips in london and they are pretty good places to stay compared to some.

Last minute bookings can often be pretty good for hotels.

For hostels it doesn't matter too much - you're probably better off booking early so hostels you might prefer aren't booked out.

Thanks Guys Travel lodge seems the way to go, I found accom for around $1450AUD for a month thats the best so far.

I will keep onto it though
