Has anyone stayed at this Charming looking hostel. i would be very interested to hear about what people thought of this hostel. Also, if anyone has any recommendations about where to stay in Arraial da Ajuda, specific things to do/see and places to eat!
Don't know about that particular accomodation, but there are plenty of beach clubs where you can spend the days. At night, the clubs in Arraial and across the river (by ferry) in Porto Seguro, the clubs have music, although it is quieter in the off season. Also go down the coast (long walk or bus) to Trancoso to spend a day at the beach and in the charming little village. In Porto Seguro, visit the site of the first Portuguese discovery of Brazil. There is also a lane full of barracas selling native Indian crafts nearby. Have fun.
