Poznan, Poland

Hey,

Just a quick one - Im planning on going back to Poland in the summer and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on Poznan? Not expecting much response from this so anything would be a bonus! Ive been over a couple of times already, Krakow (which was really beautiful but with too many stag parties!) and Lodz (not as commercial but much more my kind of scene!)

Ive been to Poznan loads. I used to visit at leat 3 or 4 times a year for a period of 4 years. My ex girlfriend is from there.

Its a nice enough city but to be honest i wouldnt spend to much time there, for me other citys are much better for spending time in. Try the tri citys, Gdansk, Gdinia and Sopot are really nice citys close to the Baltic. Als if you liked Krakow (most people do) Wrocwaw is very much worth a visit.

Anyway if you get to Poznan you must get to a cafe just of the old square called cafe kafka....it does the best hot chocolate!!!!

From Poznan you can easily reach Warsaw or Wroclaw- my favourite city in Poland.

Cheers guys - was actually thinking of getting over to Warsaw as would really like to see it - haven't considered Wroclaw yet but will definitely look into that too as I've heard good things about it!
