Well, good news from Russia it seems:

Them signing it will officially bring it into effect.

The US already says it won't bother paying attention to what the rest of the world is fighting for - not sure what Australia's stand on it is. It seems the only reason Australia hasn't signed it is due to the government's inability to make any decisions contrary to US policy. We can only hope. :)

Very happy to see Russia come through with the goods though.

yeah that would mean somthing to people here in the US if you said somthing about 911, or terrorist, or reds . . . god bless capitalism.
