Hi, i need to get from Lima (Peru) to Cordoba (Argentina) at the start of next month by bus. Does anyone know what the best/quickest route would be?

Thanks!

Personally I would head all the way down to Santiago in Chile 36-40hours (theres good buses almost every where) then pop over the border to Mendoza maybe 4 hours if i remember, which is wonderful and then to Cordoba in Argentina. The journey is brilliant, if you can break it up and stop off it would be wise but if your hardcore, i did a 24 hour stint on a similar journey, youll be fine, i hope it helps, cheers rich.

Quickest route that is still agreeable is in three legs, either taking you through Chile (expensive but dependable) or Bolivia (cheap but unreliable-ish). The Chile option described by the previous poster is feasible; the alternative through Bolivia would be smt like

Lima - Puno (Bolivian border) - Villazón (Argentine border) - Salta - Córdoba
