Hi,

My post has been marked as SPAM?

Can someone explain what I have done wrong as this is the first time I have ever posted anything?

cheers,

Alice

Basically posting a link for promotional purposes is against the forum rules. This video seemed quite likely to be posted by someone involved with the company it highlights, more than specifically about Helsinki/Finland as a destination (even then it probably would have been flagged to be honest).

I am really sorry,

I tried to check on youtube if the video is posted by someone from the rudolf company but I don't know how to check. I just thought it was a cool video that I should share for anyone interested in what to do in Helsinki in the summer.

I'm so embarrassed, I'll be more careful if I post again.

Alice.

Would that be the same Rudolf company you felt needed linking to from the wiki?

Your IP address and registered email address both indicate you are in Finland and are Finnish.

What's more, your registered email address is the email address used by Maija Pykäläinen, who just happens to be the Customer Relations Manager for the Rudolf company. You see how spamming forums can really backfire? Now your company is just known as deceitful.

"Maija has many years of valuable experience not only from her profession as a teacher, but also an in-depth understanding of Social networking on the Web"

I love how such understanding never encompasses why astroturfing is ultimately extremely harmful.
