Does anybody knows how difficult is to sell a USA used car in southamerica?

Think basic: Probably depends on the country. Lots of them in S.A. Laws are different.
Forget selling, you can't even bring a used car into Brazil.

Do you mean as a business, or as at the end of an overland trip?
Business I don't know.
Overlanding:
You can bring your car in all South American countries, including Brazil [sorry, previous post is not right in this].
At the border you get a temporary import document, most of the times 3 months but e.g. Argentina gives 8 months.
Buying and selling differs indeed per country.
http://www.horizonsunlimited.com/links/4-wheels-travellers-tales has a branch on buying and selling cars [just search, I'm not exactly sure where].
Otherwise check overlander sites with info on this, e.g.
http://www.dare2go.com/main.shtml
This couple is now selling their USA car, and have a forum on their website. Maybe that's a lead to more info.

good luck,
happy travelling,
