Oh my, this is so open-ended...i think it depends on what your interests are as everyone defines adventure differently. Some would say (and they are right!) just traveling independently in Africa is an adventure! But here are a couple of ideas: Climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, Shark Cage Diving, Overland Safari, Gorilla Trekking in Rwanda, Surfing in Jeffrey's Bay, Hiking the Wild Coast in South Africa, Scuba Diving in Mozambique/Red Sea/Sodwana Bay/Zanzibar, Sport Fishing off the coast of Mozambique, Kloofing in Cape Town, Sand-boarding/Quad-biking the desert in Namibia, Mokoro safari in Okavango Delta, Botswana, Competing in the Plymouth-Dakar Charity Race, 4x4 in the Sahara, Timbuktu Music Festival, white-water rafting the zambezi, canoeing around hippos on the zambezi, bungee jumping vic falls or garden route... there is so much to do! Let us know what you are interested in! Good luck! |

You could go to Vic Falls for all the activities there- white water rafting is fabulous. Then head to Mana Pools for a canoe trip down the Zambezi River. Do the Lion Encounter camping and bush walking safari Steve Pope has. Then transfer to South Luangwa N. P. Incredible park for easy game viewing from vehicles. The night drives have some of the best chance of seeing leopard compared to any other place in Africa. |
