We are planning a massive road trip and am keen to hear people's experiences of driving in any of these countries...

Albania, Croatia or Serbia??

Specifically interested in your observations of

[*]Traffic
[*]Road Condition
[*]Hazards
[*]Border Crossings

Any and all feedback welcome with regards to your experiences driving in any of these countries.

Cheers
Stephen & Jen

I've heard stories of old local cars deliberately running into foreign cars in Albania and demanding money for damage done to their car (that they caused).

Albania and Croatia - easy.
Serbia?? Unless you've the correct Green Card insurance at the border, two things will happen. (1) You'll be ordered to pay €125 (minimum) for a G.C. extension - or (2) if you decide not to buy it, they'll turn you round and send you back. I was there in my UK car recently and it was terrible. They keep you there for ages if you decide to buy one. Where is your car registered??
