Hello I am Alex,
Next month I'll going to visit the Los Angeles. So I decide to rent Van. But I have one question. If I want to go to other state than any van agency allow me to do that.

Most agencies allow you to cross state lines up to a point. I know here in Oregon, several rental agencies allow me to travel in Washington State and Oregon only, another allows me to travel a certain distance (regardless of state lines), and all say that travel across the Canadian/Mexican border is prohibited. As I say, it depends on the agency, and now at least 2 or 3 agencies use GPS to track their vehicles, and if you should violate the rules, you'll be paying a huge fine! By the way, Vans are normally rather expensive! I would look for a smaller agency - less restrictive.

Hi Alex,
It's likely each agency will have their own rules regarding this.
We have our VW campers restricted from going to Mexico, the high desert in summer, and all off road areas.
Other than that you can go where you want.
Just check with the company. Send 'em an e-mail telling them where you want to go and see if that's O.K.

Happy travels!
Cheers, Bill

From where I got the detailed information about the airport transportation VAN rental service provider in Los Angeles? How they will charge? Actually, I am looking for best prices and the best service.

Hi Alex,
Which states do you want to travel in? If you can give an idea of your route, we may be of more help.

It might be better to start your rental in a centrally located state and then the borders might be connecting, and they will not mind.

Thanks in advance,
Bill & Diane

Hi Alex,
So far all the places you mention are cities in California.... in that you have no problem renting a van or car and going to all those places. You said earlier that you wanted to cross the state borders with your rental van. If you go to Nevada, Arizona, or Oregon, all states that border California, you will likely be O.K. too.
Look at a map and decide... which other states do you wish to visit?

If you are as secretive about your travel plans with an agency that is going to allow you to take their $30,000 vehicle as you are here, you will likely cause them to be suspicious. I'm sure you don't want that.

Please let me know, what are Los Angeles rental terms and conditions? Can I extend the car rental duration during my trip to LA?

Thanks,
