Hi,
I have one day to go from Rome to Capri and back. Is it possible to do this trip in one day? If so, what would be the cheapest way to do so?

Yes it's 'possible' but it'd be a very LONG day, but well worth it if it's your only chance to visit. You'd train to Naples (about 2 hours) and then take either a hydrofoil from Naples to Capri and it's about an hour's ride. I think it'll cost about €80. You'd need to catch the 09.30 hydrofoil out of Naples to be in Capri by 10.30. Then you'd catch the 17.30 or 18.35 return hydrofoil to Naples, returning to Rome mid to late evening. Once on the Isle of Capri, try to move away from the crowded center of town to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the island. |

sure you can do it! if it is just a day trip, it is certainly best to do it on a tour. check it on www.do-nation.com |
