Travel Barcelona to Lisbon

Is it easy to travel from Barcelona to Lisbon without flying? Train, bus??

Do you have a driving licence?? I've driven from Barcelona to Portugal. It's so easy - and just wonderful. There are some great car hire offers to be found online, that allow you to pick up a car at the airport. It won't work out much different to the train or bus if there's is more than 1 of you travelling. Even if you're on your own, the small extra expense is well worth it.

If you have a spare day to devote to the travel, then certainly trains and buses can get you there. Unless you are deathly afraid of flying, or have copious amounts of luggage, I would just advise getting a flight and saving time and bother. I flew from Sevilla to Barcelona for about 55 Euro ($70 US) and it took us only a little over an hour to fly from one side of Spain to the other! I chose a flight because from what I had researched, Sevilla to BCN would have run me about the same price on the train, but would have been 8+ hours of travel, and for my trip, my time was more valauble than the money..... We flew via Spanair btw....
