Well my girlfriend booked us tickets and we are leaving on Dec 1/04. Never been anywhere before so not to sure about what I need. I am from Canada, Does anyone know anything about how medical insurance works? I will be needing to find a job right away, does anyone know how hard this will be to do? Either bar work, construction, anything really to make money. I will be getting a work visa and we will be flying into Sydney and I am not too sure what we are going to do after that, lol. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for any help

travel up the east coast heading to cairns before going onto darwin and then possibly alice springs. You could easily spend a good few months travelling between sydney and cairns.

Ive just got back after three weeks of travelling and it was no where near enough time.

Any questions get in touch

Regarding travel insurance, I'm in BC and I found that BCAA (aka CAA) had the best rates with the best coverage. Mind you, I haven't left yet so I don't know how they are service-wise. Check it out!

Thanks for the reply's. Will it be hard to find a place to stay in sydney? I have heard it gets pretty busy. So should we book ahead or just show up? We want to work, And I really want to surf, where would the best place be to go to work and surf?
Thanks again
