Hi all,

I am planning this VERY late. Just wondering if there are any advices for getting away for TWO days from London.
I am traveling with my wife and looking for something nice and relaxing.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Well firstly, I'd stay somewhere in zone 1 so you can avoid travelling too much. A great hotel is the Knightsbridge Hotel. It has great decor, and is situated in a quiet cul de sac near the centre of London. Or maybe try the Quality Crown hotel in Kensington in Kensington as it is in a great location yet not too expensive.

Once there, I'd say you should do the London Eye followed by a river boat tour past london bridge, house of parliament etc. The get out and spend some time in Oxford street for shopping. Finally, unwind in Hyde Park by walking round the various lakes etc.

I hope that helps a little :)
