Will Mexico let me in with a one-way ticket and no proof of onward travel? I am a Danish passport holder and my plan is to bus my way south.. if not..how can i do this? i dont want to spend too much money on airfares and would like to be spontanious..however, this seems impossible if i need to book plane-and bustickets for each country in order to get in..im one big question mark..help!

Hi,

If you're coming from USA,you won't have any problems getting in without onward tickets etc.I went by bus also, they didn't even check or stamp my passport

You're golden. I've done it before and they never asked...Just don't give them a reason to question things. Don't show up looking like a homeless person.

In this day and age of the eticket, I wonder if any border makes a big deal about this anymore. No one has an onward ticket in their pocket.

Amigo, Hello, Louflor here, i live in Tijuana Mexico, as far as your bus journey throughout mexico, you will be alright, the only strict checkpoints would be U.S. land ports/customs, To rome around by bus, have your documents handy for routine checkpoints on federal highways. and tell'em Lou sent ya.
