So I'm thinking about it. Has anyone here done it before? I mean... actually run with them. Is it the type of thing that anyone can get into? anything I'd have to do before hand? Is there a cheap way to get there from madrid?

any advice or things to look into would be greatly appreciated!

thanks!

I have not run with them yet...but I plan to in 2009.

It is free to enter the run...just show up before 7am and pick your spot. No registration needed!

Travelling from madrid by train (renfe.com) is the best and I suggest you book "web tarrif" option as its cheaper. buses from madrid via (laconda.es)

u should go for it......i ran for the 1st time last year & had no problems....just show up early & use common sense when running (cut close on corners, don't go wide)....i ran on the last day & there were probably 400+ runners that morning....no one died & only a couple of injuries.....the scene in the down for the entire festival is unreal....wear the traditional colours & have fun! its a great experience....

Cheers
Ben
