Help!

I plan to get a one way ticket to Beijing and travel for 6mts in cambodia, loas, vietnam etc then fly home from India. I was told i would have to show that i will leave china at customs how would i do this if i plan to travel by bus/train i wont have another onward flight. If that makes sense. What should i do? i plan to get my visa for vietnam in China is that possible? Do i also need to get a visa for china before i leave???
