Where to visit around Nepal?

I'm going to be in Nepal this summer and I'm looking for somewhere to spend a couple of week before coming back to England. Flights stop at either Delhi or Doha, I have travelled quite a bit around India so would like to go somewhere new...has anyone spent any time in Doha/Qatar and if so what is there of interest there? I can always get a return flight from Kathmandu to somewhere nearby and then fly back to England from there...Any suggestions?

There are many beautiful and interesting places to visit inside and outside the Kathmandu Valley. The places are full of history and historical remains and are remarkable for their beauties.
