I am 26 and have recently been made redundant. As there are very few jobs out there, my boyfriend and I have decided to sieze the moment and plan the trip of a lifetime. Neither of us have really travelled before, we've got about £5000.00 each (to include flights) and are hoping to go round the world in 6 months.
We're not sure where to start and would appreciate any help you can offer.
We went to STA at the weekend and they suggested this route:
London - Beijing (make our way to) Hong Kong - then make our own way to Singapore - fly from Singapore to Austrailia, then to New Zealand and then to West Cost USA.
Does this seem doable?
I would be really grateful for any advice on China/ travelling from Hong Kong to Singapore - what the best route is etc.
We're hoping to leave in September but want to book our tickets asap.
Your advice would be greatly appreciated x
