Whenever you feel like you are such looser, just think about those creatures who steal from other travellers.

How pathetic can some people get. Stealing a cheap phone and cause you the trouble of loosing all phone numbers. what if you found a cellphone in a hostel lobby?

Have you ever taken things that don't belong to you? Hmmm, I just took a facial wash that has been sitting in the shower for 3 days. Sometimes, I try the shampoo or facial wash left by other travellers in the bathroom. In Christian morality standards, I am already a thief. I also pick coins (foreign currency) that are on the floor.

Whats the most expensive thing you've returned to the authorities. I was such a boyscout, when I returned a cellphone, I found in a subway in Tokyo. I have returned so many cellphones and lost a lot too.

I once found a wallet stuffed with money in the middle of a giant party in a piazza in Venice. There were tons of people there. I could see the money sticking out of the top back when we still had Lira.

I was scared to death and torn by what to do. I can't speak Italian, so if I opened the wallet to see if I could catch a face on a card or something, someone could believe I stole it. If I shoved it in my pocket and walked away, then I did steal it.

The piazza was surrounded at the mouth by local cops, wearing their Mp5s in front and stern faced. I worked my way over to a group and went through a whole pantomime of what happened and handed the wallet to the person who looked in charge. He immediately opened the wallet and started to parcel out the money to the other cops with him and then shoved the wallet in his pocket. I thought to myself "Nice going, ace."

I was in a bus and saw the guy beside me inserting his hands in the gap between the chairs infront. I guess it doesn't take a genius to know that the guy is a pickpocketeer or the term should be "low life". I stared at him and stood up, hoping that he would lose face and feel a sense of shame... BUT I WASN'T BRAVE ENOUGH OR STUPID ENOUGH to shout that a passenger is being rob. The scene lasted till eternity, and then finally, the guy went off the bus, along 3 other guys siting in the other seats. I immediate told the guy infront of me, check your wallet. He has his wallet, but his cellphone was just taken by the pus beside me.

I still feel very guilty. I didn't do anything. Especially, now that I keep losing things. They rob me days of vacation or miles of travel. I just really hate these thieves.

I caught a couple guys drinking my milk in auckland. him and a friend had drank half of it before I even opened it! I got super-annoyed and turned up the philly accent and said, "AYE YO!! watdafuk youse guys are drinkin' all my milk!"

They just used some lame excuse that they didn't see a name on it....Then I pointed out the sticker with my name and room number on it. irritating! I made a big scene, making sure that everybody heard me say, "You don't just steal people's f---in milk!"

Funny thing is if they woulda just asked, I woulda said "go right ahead, it's just milk!"
