I am planning to travel to Yogyakarta and Bandung. It would be 5 days and 4 nights trip. Planning to to be in Yog for 3 days and Bandung 2 days.
I have a few questions:-
1. What is the best way to go Borobudur and Perambanan Temples. Use tour package or plan personally like hire your own taxi and visit these places. What is the cheapest and best? Is sunrise or sunset at these places worth it?
2. What are the must visit places in Yog and Bandung besides temples?
3. What is the recommended budget hotel in Yog and Bandung? How about Merapi hotel at Yog? Duta Guest House is fully booked.
4. Any other hostels/budget hotels recommended that not listed in google?
5. Is tipping common? How much is the standard?
