Is it possible to export a trip outline to Google Maps or Google Earth?

Not at the moment I'm afraid. This will likely be possible in the not too different future though.

In case you hadn't noticed yet, the photos already can be exported for Google Earth. Creates a pretty nifty map of its own! Click on the 'Load in Google Earth' link on the left of your photography gallery.

Correct.
But for most members I guess it takes a while to get into that personal photo gallery. On the usual page, the link to 'manage your photo gallery' hasn't got the google earth link. Also, when you go to your control panel and click 'manage photo gallery' you get the same page.

You have to go to 'show other where to find you' and than click on the photo link on top of the page: 'more photos by ...x...'.

Cheers!
Michael

Every 'my' photo page, including the manage photo gallery page has a link to the public photo gallery (at top right, the 'Public Gallery' tab). We've never considered it to be a part of photo management, hence it not showing there. It's more of a display preference, like showing your photos as a slideshow (linked from the same spot). For most other users I find this page via their member profile page and clicking on the 'More Photos by' link.

Note that you don't even need google earth to see the photos on a google map - you can copy the link and put it into google maps, too: example.
