Hi Jordan,
You can get visas direct from the embassies in London (by post if you like, but allow a month at least!).
Not sure about duration but at least 30 days, possibly 90 - check on www.fco.gov.uk (Foreign Office).
You don't need a visa for Thailand, but you defintely do for China and Vietnam.

THAILAND
Entry requirements for UK nationals: Visas are not required for travel by UK Passport holders for periods of 30 days or less (an extension of up to 10 days is possible). For periods longer than 30 days a visa must be obtained in advance.

VIETNAM
Entry requirements for UK nationals: UK passport holders must have a passport valid for at least one month after visa expiry date. A visa is required and is valid for one month from date of entry.
