I live in the UK and I am working in Tenerife over the summer. Does anyone know a good website where I can get a suitable sim card I can use over there which will give me cheaper deals than using my UK sim card to ring and text home?

please help!!!

x thanks x

As long as your phone is unlocked, you can buy a pre paid sim card when you get to Tenerife, or pretty much any country these days. Usually at convenience stores.

As Dodger notes, you can get a sim card on arrival pretty easily in most countries. They might not always include instructions on how to get started in a language you understand though But for Tenerife (Spain) you should be okay, especially if you know someone there who can help you translate. If you want to have the sim card before you get there (in order to hand out your new phone number in advance for example!), there are a few different sites that sell local sim cards online. We're partnered with Telestial as you can see on the Spain SIM card page
