Getting to Pamplona

hey guys,

just wanted to know what the best way to get into pamplona is from barcelona during the running of the bulls (6-14th july). We are flying into barcelona then thought of maybe getting a bus or train into pamplona, but we need to be there by 6am as we plan on running "with the bulls" that morning. Is this feasible?? Any ideas would be great!!!

The distance between Pamplona and Barcelona is 486km, roughly 4½ hours driving time. There is an airport with flights between the two cities operated by an Iberia subsidary called Air Nostrum which might be your best bet. A local travel agent should be able to get you flight details.

Unfortunately, the high speed rail link between the two cities is not expected to be completed until 2014.

Thanks for that, ill have a look at flights. Ive read briefly somewhere that there is overnight buses that run from barcelona to pamplona, during the festival at least anyway, But I couldnt get any other info on times/prices etc. Have as anyone used them or know where i can get details??
