Help for Accommodations in Buenos Aires & Salta please

I will be a "woman alone" in Buenos Aires-I want to stay in Recoleta only. I saw 2 places: The Art Hotel and Recoleta Apart Hotel (Guido). Does anyone know of these 2 places??? Saftey & location & proximity to things are paramount to me. Or can anyone suggest anyplace else that is also reasonable in cost.

I will also be in Salta & need to be right in the centre-can anyone suggest something reasonable please?
