Hi All!

Can anyone please let me know what is the best time to visit Keukenhof and the Tulip fields? I am planning to be there on Queen's Day, 30th April. Is it going to be too crowded? Or should I postpone my visit by a week or so? Till when are the flowers supposed to be in bloom??? And till when can I see the tulip fields??? Any ideas when does the harvesting of the tulips start in the fields???

Please help!

Regards.

You can see tulips fields anytime during the spring or early summer, whole monocultures of them if you get the bus from Schipol to Haarlem.

Keukenhof is open from 19 March to 21 May 2009. See Keukenhof ;)

As regards Queens Day, it depends on the weather. Forecast is for sunny weather with a few clouds and a temperature of between 16C and 20C, so it'll probably be very crowded.
