The great Wall in China
All over Greece
All over Italy
Berlin
Cairo
Western Australia
Ground Zero in New York
and The Amazon
All those are must haves, but there are other places I would love to stumble upon along the way :)

The followings make me tick:
1) The Great Wall of China, being chinese myself I have to see it, they say you are not proper chinese until you have seen the Great Wall.

2)Amazon, the fact that it is changing by the minute, have you see it before it disappears all together.

3)The piramids, always love the misterious feel about them.

4)The Everest, don't think I am fit enough to climb it but just to see how small it would make me feel.

I guess the list can go on and go, but one step at a time hey. I will be going on my big trip in four weeks so I am lucky enough to be able to tick some of the places off the list.

1000 places??? It's a big world out there, so I'd feel reeeeally lucky to make my top 100.

For now I'll stick to my top 10 places I still want to see and haven't:
- India
- Australia + New Zealand + Great Reefe
- Japan (Tokyo + Mount Fuji, caos & peace)
- Amazonia (ultimate nature)
- Tibet / Nepal
- Kenia (deep Africa)
- China (Big Wall)
- Cambodja (Angkwor)
- Maya/Aztec trekking (Peru/Mexico)
- Kauai, Hawaii?

I had trouble thinking "what's the ultimate beach destination in the world?" What are your tips? "If you'd be stuck in an island, what would it be?

Kristie79 - GO TO THE COOK ISLANDS!!! I spent 3 weeks there in April and it is one of the most beautiful places you will ever see. Try and spend a few days over in the Aitutaki Lagoon. It is stunning. Pristine white beaches, crystal clear water, and the friendliest people that I have ever met. The only problem is...once you get on Cook Island time...it's very hard to get back to reality!!

I am dying to go to:
Turkey - be in Gallipoli for the ANZAC day dawn service (will be in 05!!)
Peru - walk the Inca trail
Thailand - to go to elephant school in Chang Rai

I'm off to the UK in April 05 so someone tell me the best spots to go in England & Ireland!!

Ps......I just got back from 2 weeks in Egypt and I have fallen in love with this country. I would reccomend it to anyone who likes a bit of adventure!!

My husband and I cannot agree on our first wannabe destination!! I've been around Europe a lot already (Northern Spain, Southern France, Italy, Germany), but there is still so much to see!

The place I've been to in Italy (and enjoyed 100%!!):
1. Torino
2. Roma
3. Toscana region: Pisa, Firenze, Siena
You agree that I still have to see: Venezia, Verona (Verdi festival) and Pessaro (for the Rossini festival--my favorite opera composer!)
That's for Italy. (I really love that country! )

Besides, I'd like to visit Vienna which has been one of Europe's music capital in the past!
I am also very curious to discover eastern Europe, because of the history that is less familiar to me (it sounds mysterious!), and Russia!! ( I'd like to learn the language! -- I'm a language freak! )

What else? Well, I'd like to be able to save enough money to visit with my husband my extended family in France, Argentina, and the in-laws in Brazil... But if we had the money, I think that discovering NEW places would be our priority!!
