Hi there,

We are in Sydney at the moment, looking for the cheapest ways to go north byron, brisbane or cairns/darwin? not really too fussed where we go at the moment. Just looking to find a job somewhere for a while.

Heard about rental companies who will let you drive their vehicles between cities for free. Anyone know any good websites for this? Advice appreciated.

Cheers.

Not sure about the rental companies, but i guess flying would be your cheapest option. Jetstar.com.au do some incredible cheap flights from Sydney. They also have a sale on Friday between 12-2pm i believe.

I recently booked a flight from Sydney - Byron for as little as $65 (tax incl)

JD.

Your cheapest option would be car rental relocation. I dont know of any websites but when i was in alice springs i found some relocation options at a car rental place i walked into. Or you could find postings for relocations at hostels or internet cafes or backpacker travel agents like peter pan or backpackers world. I dont know if they always pay you but some might. Its a good way to see the countyr too, if you have the time.
