They'll scan you at the airport and if your temperature shows above 37C, you'll be quarantined and tested for swine flu, but apart from that there are currently no restrictions which would prevent you from entering the country.

To be honest I didnt think it was that bad until people have started telling me how bad it could get! I think the media alot of the time exagerate a lot of what is happening but its sure sad how people have died from it. I have the same worried as you but im travelling end of June so may have gone by then.. may be worse! Just after the protests in Bangkok this happens which is unfortunate, always seems something is happening and we just need to work around it! :)

Im sure you will be fine as there putting thermal detectors in the airports to test if you have it.. and if you don't then you can go through.

Have a good trip!
Mike

Sort of reminds of bird flu but this one's able to travel from human to human. heard we're supposed to be in for a pandemic soon according to statistics like every 50 yrs or something there's been 1 and we're overdue! health secretary sed they've stocked up on over 33m anti-virals just in case... kinda makes me worry...

Like during the Bird Flu they will either scan you at the airport or check your temperature with a thermometer.

There is a lot of hype with this flu this time. I would feel uncomfortable sitting next to someone who is coughing and hacking the whole flight. However, in America over 40,000 people die each year from ordinary flu! So far, in the US one person has died of this Mexico Flu and he was not a US citizen! Throughout the world in a normal year around a half million people die of ordinary flu!

Lets hope for the best. Maybe this flu will die off before long and things will be back to normal. On the good side perhaps air fares will be a little lower this year compared to last year.
