I'm heading Paris with my mother for 3-4 days. I need to stay in an hotel nearby most of the attractions in Paris (Eiffel tower, Notre Dame, Champs Elyssee, Museums,etc...), with a reasonable price..so, any recommendations??
Thanks in advance
An exact hotel, I dont know but for prices, IBIS hotels are cheap ( about $50+) There are about 10 IBIS in Paris with maps on their site so u can choose from those. The train system in Paris is so good that no matter where you choose, u can easily just hop on the train. But the train isnt so close to the Eiffel tower of all things.
Try Hotelscombined After you enter your data and the first page loads, click the "Price" column header to sort the results by cheapest first. Each result contains a map of its location so that you can see where the hotel is located.
I stayed at Mary's hotel - central, clean and good value.
We stayed at Timhotel Le Louvre. It was fairly cheap, but clean etc and in a REALLY good location-just behind the Louvre near loads of restaurants and bars. It was within walking distance of all the main attractions. Definitely reccommended!
Your best bet is to get a ticket for the Metro, get off at one of the hundreds of stations - and you'll never be more than a 5 minute walk from a budget hotel, as long as you're not right in the city. Don't book in advance - just find a room when you're there. Easy and more fun. That way you can see the place before you decide whether to part with any money.
I second IBIS hotels. Its cheap and plenty to choose from.
