i am presently in india. Will travel to switzerland from 15th may to 31st july
i am having a type D schengen visa valid for switzerland only valid from 15th may to 31st july.i wish to travel to other countries, thus wish to apply for a type C schengen visa from german consulate from india itself.I would like to know what do i write in
"Border of first entry or transit route "
Since i will already be in schengen region before i travel to germany so should i put a swiss city?
or Should i put a german border city as first point of entry?
And can i travel to france before i travel to germany. Since i am already in schengen region does any1 check?

You are best contacting the countries embassies. They will give you all the info you need - plus you can print off what they say online, so if there's a problem at the borders, you can show them the paperwork.

There's some info on the Dutch Schengen Visa site which should clarify matters for you. Here's the link: Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs

As you can see, you must apply for the Visa in the main destination country, or the country you propose to spend the most amount of time in. That's probably why the Swiss have only given you a couple of weeks stay.

Hope this helps.
