Yup - knew what was meant though it struck me very funny coming from an American. Guess he spent too much time in OZ.

Fair Play.... it was real bad when I was down there. I was starting sentences with "ah jeez lads" "come here" and "your man." haha imagine that coming from a brown skin native american

I was even eating tayto sandwiches!

nothing wrong with tayto sandwiches !!!! my colleague think i'm strange for putting crisps between bread, oh and strange for calling them crisps and not chips..........

I have such a hard time pronouncing "crisps" Too many esses in one word!

Neal has finally gotten us used to jumper, craic, rashers, lemonade (as in 7UP, not the lovely lemon drink), pants (as in "under"), purse (which to him means wallet), wallet (which to him means purse), trainers, football, boot, bonnet, and his odd pronunciation of the number 8.

I still make fun of him for not being able to say "oo", though. Poor is still "purr".
