ibis Singapore on Bencoolen or Bayview Hotel on Bencoolen ST

I am now in Singapore, and checking up the places such as Little India, Orchard Road and Bugis.

I made a reservation to stay at Bayview hotel on bencoolen street but found this new hotel "ibis Singapore on Bencoolen" and they are offering walk-in rate of $148 including free WiFi... which is better deal than what I already booked....

Has anyone stayed at this ibis Singapore on Bencoolen hotel before? It looks funky, clean and in the very convenient location for me....

I am in Singapore for a while and willing to stay in the hotel with good service, but I do not want to pay too much... ibis had a slogan, save on price not on service.

Does anyone have any suggestions on this hotel, and other things to do in Singapore?

That sounds a bit pricy. There are hotel booking agencies which offer better deals at between $100 and $110 for the Ibis. You can check them out here: Hotelscombined After you enter your data and the first page loads, click the "Name" column header to sort the results alphabetically and then click the number "8" page to load it. You'll find the booking agencies on that page on the same entry for the Ibis. I believe the whole Ibis group is 100% non-smoking, so if you're a smoker, you might want to clarify that with them.

You can also click the "Price" column header to sort the results by cheapest first.

Check Agoda we found cheap hotels through them for all of Malaysia and Singapore.

Think we stayed at Hotel 31 or something on Bencoolen - about $70
