Hi,
I've just read through a lot of information about travels between Clark airport and Manila airport and just want to make sure I've got it right.
I'm flying to Clark and arriving at 11.15. From Clark I need to get to Cebu, and flights there are no flights from Clark to Cebu on my dates. So from what I understand, I need to take a bus or air asia's shuttle to the Pasay City terminal and then from there a taxi to Manila airport.
On the way back I need to do the opposite.. So does that mean that the best way is to take a taxi from manila Airport to the Pasay bus terminal, and then from there a bus to clark airport, or do I need to change transportation in clark city, or is there a bus from Manila airport to clark city??
I'm also wondering about time and costs. Would the trip take all together, one way, cost around P400 and take up to 5 hours? I've olny got 5 1/2 hours from when I arrive at Manila airport to when I depart from Clark airport, on the way back.. is this going to be enough or would you suggest I take a taxi?
Cheers,

Is that discount airline still looking good? (Oh yeah, check the weight allowances for your check in and carry on bags, some of those discount flights have some allowances lower than normal airlines.) I think arriving at Clark really blows and not worth the money saved, just my opinion! Some passengers get screwed just going from the terminal to outside the main gate.

From Clark there a Philtranco Bus that takes passengers into Manila where you can connect with a meter taxi to take you to the airport. Google up Philtranco and see if it will do. From the the Mega Mall ( I think) you should be able to get a taxi paying meter only for around 200 pisos or less.

Here is a link to an answer I found on the internet.

I have been on buses from Dau (bus station area outside Clark.) where it took around 4 hours to reach Manila during holidays and road construction. Most of the time it is around 2 to 2.5 hours from Dau. I think you will have to be lucky to make your connection. Maybe not impossible but lots of things have to be going right. Your flight has to be on time and you have to get the bus right away too. Which terminal are you flying from in Manila - domestic or international? Probably domestic but sort that out ahead of time.

Good luck.

yeah.. I think that it will take you about 3 hours to get from Clark to Manila Domestic Airport, but I'm not sure with the current traffic in EDSA where the construction of the Light Rail Transit is causing heavy traffic.

yes Philtranco buses pick up passengers to Clark Airport in SM Mega Mall but it is still about 30-45mins taxi ride to the Manila Domestic Airport or to NAIA Terminal 3 if you're taking Cebu Pacific or PAL Express to Cebu..

One option is that you can take a Airport taxi from Manila Airport to Clark.. but I'd guess that would be expensive.. but it will probably be able to find a better route than through the congested EDSA where the Philtranco bus pass through...

Anyways, is there anyway you can still change airlines from Air Asia to may be Cebu Pacific? because Cebu Pacific may have direct flights from where you are to Cebu...
