Pre planning here:

Anyone of the cheapest country in SEA to fly to OZ or NZ?

I hear Air Asia Indonesia is flying Beth Bali cheaply on promo.

Anything else out there?

AirAsia have just started selling tickets for their new Perth - Bali route a couple of days ago. The promotional (and limited) free tickets have all been snapped up, but you should still be able to get their lower end prices. They also fly from Kuala Lumpur to Gold Coast, Melbourne and Perth.

Yea I saw the Perth Bali prices and got excited :) then saw they were all gone

I'm seeing Air Asia flights for USD$70 from KK to Perth. Seems pretty cheap. Is this the norm price year round?

I'm guessing Air Asia is the cheapest Carrier then.

Trying to work the visa thing out. SEA to Oz then NZ, but kinda buggered in NZ unless I get multiple OZ to get back. hmmm

Also check out Tiger Airways and Jetstar which fly Perth to Singapore.

It's difficult, no impossible to say this one is the best, as they change so fast. I'm going back the opposite way with a flight from Perth to Singapore. Really you have to just bit the bullet and jump in. Sometimes you get lucky and find you got the cheapest ticket, sometimes they go on sale the next day! Why are you buggered for NZ? if you mean the issue of needing a outward bound ticket. I'd suggested to someone else, and its what I did, buy a one way refundable ticket out of NZ back to Aus and cancel it when you get to NZ. It will cost you $40AU with Jetstar.

Thanks for that guys. Appreciate it.

By the buggered by visa thing what I mean is I thought they did not issue multiple entry visa from SEA. But on their immigration site they mention an eVisitor which means a 3 months worth of multiple visits 1 year.

I thought I would be stuck in NZ with an expensive direct flight back to SEA, instead I can hop back to OZ and then SEA if I can get the eVisitor thing.

Unless there is anywhere else to go after New Zealand?
