Hi to all the Spain fans outs there! I recently visited Andalucia and had a fantastic 10 days touring around and seeing the sights. I flew into Malaga and made my way to Granada which has to be one of the most impressive cities in Europe. The Alhambra, Albaycin neighbourhood has got the impressive backdrop of an enourmous mountain range - the Sierra Nevada. Not only that but for every beer I ordered I got a local 'tapas' style dish along with it which was free! I ended up doing a hot-air balloon ride over the city and my guide told us all about the history about the place.
The rest of the trip was spent visiting the amazing town of Ronda which is perched on top of a gorge and has some of the best Spanish food I've ever had, then on to Seville to see some flamenco as well a a horse-drawn carriage ride around the famous sights; Giralda, Alcazar, Parque Maria Luisa plus a couple of nights in a quaint hostel in the Santa Cruz neighbourhood.
I would thouroughly recommend visiting this region if you think you know Spain - as it has a real feeling of history and tradition about it as well as great food, culture, and sights.
